THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

OPTION 1. Build a Box Online Using Journey’s link.

If you and others in your journey group would like to participate, but you don't have time to build a box yourself, you can have Samitan's Purse build a box for you by going to the link below and donating $25. If you do this, please use the link below so your donation will count toward Journey Bible's goal of 500 boxes.

OPTION 2. Build a Box Yourself and Drop it Off at Church Nov 18-25

The other way to participate is to build a box (or boxes) yourself. You can use your own shoe box. You can buy shoe boxes at Hobby Lobby, or you can pick up a red shoe box at church in the lobby on Sunday mornings Oct 27 and Nov 3 There will also be boxes in the missions office upstairs in the staff office area that you can pick up during the week.

Please fill your boxes with gifts and return them to the church the week of Nov 18-25. We will have a drop off location in the lobby. Journey will deliver the boxes to Samaritan's Purse on Nov 25.

WHAT TO PACK IN YOUR BOX: You will pack your box based on the gender and age of the child you want to bless. Detailed instructions are provided at the link below. Your box will have 6 items as listed below:

• 1 "wow" item which will be the main present. This could be a cool stuffed animal, soccer ball (deflated), or something else a child would really like.

• 1 piece of clothing (hat, t-shirt, etc.)

• 1 personal care item (comb, toothbrush, wash cloth, sunglasses, hair bows)

• 1 small toy (doll, matchbox cars, balls)

• 1 craft/school item (pens, crayons, pencils)

• 1 note from you

Everything needs to fit in your box. And your box will need to be labeled with the gender and and age of the child to whom the gift will be delivered. Please do not include liquids (drinks, toothpaste) or anything that might be viewed as a weapon (toy gun, pocket knife). Detailed suggestions can be view by going to the link below.
