Isn’t being a Christian enough?
Why would it matter if I’m a member?

The Bible says in Romans 12:5, that we are “members of one another.” Membership will help you to deepen your passion for Jesus Christ and the Journey Bible family. Membership demonstrates that commitment in a local church is a two-way street. Committing yourself to a body of believers is weighty. But it’s also wonderful.

When you join, you are deciding to be “all in” at Journey Bible. You are committing to a spiritual family that provides encouragement and support. And you are called to a biblical degree of responsibility, service, submission, and sacrifice to your brothers and sisters in the Journey family. In return, the Elders, Pastors, and Leaders of our church covenant to shepherd, encourage, counsel, pray, care, and provide biblical teaching for the membership community. It’s beautiful to see a local body of Christ live life together in a meaningful way in membership.

HERE’S HOW YOU CAN BECOME A MEMBER:

STEP 1 – Attend a “Journey Membership Class”
STEP 2 – Fill out the Membership Application
STEP 3 – Meet with an Elder to share your story, ask questions, and agree on the Journey Membership Covenant together
STEP 4 – Celebrate your commitment with the entire church family
